Brother Mike Mahoney joins the band on drums.

Cousin Mark Mahoney joins the band on guitar.

The Mahoney Brothers “Long Live the Beatles” show returns to Six Flags Great Adventure for the 1979 season.

1980

Release of the first original single, “Come a Little Bit Closer”/”First Time Love” on Ethna Records.

First casino appearance at Resorts Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ.

“Long Live the Beatles” performed before 37,000 in Philadelphia at Veteran’s Stadium.

“Long Live the Beatles”  performed for 5 months at Six Flag Great Adventure and Six Flags Over Texas.

First national TV appearance for The Mahoney Brothers on WTBS show “Atlantic City Live”.

1981

Second original single,  “Send Me a Photograph”/”I Don’t Want To Be Lonely” released .

300+ performances of “Long Live the Beatles” at Six Flags Great Adventure.

1982

1983

Brother Bill Mahoney replaces Mark Mahoney for re-signing of Six Flags Great Adventure.

“Don’t Freeze Me Out” released from “Running Too Long” album and receives regional airplay and sales.

1984

Bill Mahoney replaced by Joe Schwartz on guitar.

350+ performances of “Long Live the Beatles” performed at Six Flags Great Adventure.

Kings Casino Showroom in Aruba hosts “Long Live the Beatles” for 5 weeks.

The Mahoney Brothers received the MAXI Award for performing before 60,000 at the OMNI in Miami, FL. during 6 days of shows in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Beatles invading America.

Robert Miller replaces Joe Schwartz on guitar.

The Mahoney Brothers “Jukebox Heroes Live” signs a 2 year contract with Six Flags Great Adventure.

1992

Ed O’Connor replaces Robert Miller on guitar.

The Mahoney Brothers sign with Greg Thompson Productions for 5 months of “Jukebox Heroes Live” at “Lilly Langtree’s Dinner Theatre” in Valley Forge, PA.

First prime time network TV appearance on CBS –

Jay Swanson joins “Long Live the Beatles”, “Jukebox Heroes Live” and The Mahoney Brothers Band on guitar, keyboards, bass and vocals.

The Mahoney Brothers Band signs with Comstock Records.

Original single “Long Necks and Tall Tales” released in 16 European countries and hits #36 on worldwide indie country charts!

Mahoney Brothers Band CD released in Europe, Australia and New Zealand

2002

The Mahoney Brothers perform “Long Live the Beatles”, “Jukebox Heroes Live” and their original music throughout the 2002 seasons.

The Mahoneys commemorate a quarter century celebrating the music of the Beatles with recharged tribute - Beatlemania Revisited:Long Live the Beatles.

The band releases a new original CD - “Rock and Roll Rodeo”.

The title song “Rock and Roll Rodeo” begins to receive European airplay.
 

Present

January 2003, The Mahoney Brothers record new “Jukebox Heroes” CD for Summer availability.

The Mahoney Brothers prepare to tour with “Long Live the Beatles”, “Jukebox Heroes Live” and their original music.
